# SMP & Discord Rules

> Rules for Grumps Hollow SMP and Discord. Read before playing to avoid punishments.

Grumps Hollow is built around a **kind, respectful, and drama-free community**.\
These rules apply to both the SMP and Discord.

# 🧱 SMP Rules

## 🤝 Community & Behavior

1. **Respect others.** Toxicity and drama are not tolerated.
2. **No disturbing content** in chat (images, videos, discussions).
3. **No promoting** (servers, socials, streams, etc.), including DMs.
4. **No sharing personal information** (yours or others).
5. **Keep content PG-13.** No inappropriate builds (casinos, clubs, etc.).
6. **No political or religious discussions.**

  Slurs or hate speech will result in an **immediate ban**.

## 🛠️ Gameplay Rules

7. **No griefing or stealing**, claimed or unclaimed.
8. **Maintain a 100-block distance** from other claims.
9. **No exploiting or abusing glitches.** Report them instead.
10. **No lag machines or harmful redstone builds.**

## ⚔️ PvP Rules

11. **PvP must be consensual.** Both players must have PvP enabled.
12. **No indirect killing methods** (lava traps, drowning, etc.).

  Turning PvP on means you accept the risk of losing items.

## 🚫 Punishable Offenses

13. **No hacking or disallowed mods.**\
    Allowed: Badlion, Lunar, Vanilla, and approved Forge/Fabric mods\
    (Fullbright, Minimap, Light Levels, Coords, Replay, WAILA, Armor/Tool Status, Optifine, Litematica *without easy place*).
14. **No ban evasion.** Using alt accounts will result in a permanent ban.
15. **No threats, doxxing, or DDOSing.**

  Hacking or severe violations will result in a **permanent ban**.

## 🧑‍💼 Staff & Moderation

16. **Do not ping staff unless urgent.**\
    Use **#questions** or **#support** instead.
17. **Do not discuss bans publicly.**\
    Submit appeals through Discord tickets.

# 💬 Discord Rules

## 📢 General

1. **No hate speech.**
2. **No NSFW or disturbing content.**
3. **No self-promotion** (links, DMs, etc.).
4. **No spam**, including excessive pings.
5. **Use the correct channels.**

  Slurs or discriminatory language will result in an **immediate ban**.

6. **No sharing personal information.**
7. **Keep language PG-13.**
8. **Do not ping staff unless urgent.**
9. **Do not discuss bans publicly.**
10. **English only in main channels.**

  Even if something isn’t explicitly listed, actions that go against the community’s values may result in punishment.
