# Pals

> Officially pair up with another player to unlock shared perks and fun interactions.

Pals is Grumps Hollow’s friendship system. Celebrate your friendship with the community by becoming pals with a close friend!

PVP between pals is automatically disabled, so you never have to worry about accidentally harming each other.

## 🤝 What pals can do

As pals, you can enjoy fun interactions and useful perks:

* **PVP is automatically disabled** — no accidental kills
* **Hug your pal** by crouching and right-clicking each other
* **Gift your pal** — instead of teleporting to them, you can gift

## 💬 Pal Commands

| Command                 | What it does                                       |
| ----------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| `/pals add <player>`    | Become pals with a player!                         |
| `/pals remove <player>` | Unpal one of your current pals.                    |
| `/pals gift`            | Gift an item you're currently holding to your pal! |
| `/pals list`            | View your current list of pals!                    |
| `/pals tp`              | Teleport to your pal!                              |
| `/pals tptoggle`        | Toggle your TP so your pal can't teleport.         |
| `/pals pvp`             | Toggle your PVP so you can PVP with your pal.      |

To hug your pal, crouch and right-click — (you can also run `/pals hug`)

## 👥 Pal Limits

The number of pals you can have depends on your rank (everyone can have one pal):
